Orbetron’s 50 Series Feeder with quick feeder exchange capabilities, enables the processor to dedicate a spice to a feeder. From designing the disc and appropriate hardware to then match the throughput rates of the spices, Orbetron is in control of it all. During their basic operation, material is fed into a feeding house which incorporates filling, and/or if required, includes their Ezi-Dock product line, for 100% containment.
As an option that is up to the customer, the 50 Series Feeder also doses product into a small vessel cup that then is transferred into or on a specific food. Benefits include choice of design, specifications, controls, and options of each 50 Series Feeder.
Orbetron also offers volumetric, batching, and gravimetric feeding processes. Typically for continuous operations, the volumetric process is used for spice feeding for very small amounts in grams. When utilizing the batching process, there are capabilities of choosing gain-in-weight or loss-in-weight. For those spices that may have poor flow characteristics we offer agitation and material flickering or vibration.
